First off, claiming and claimers is not really a big aspect of the game here on Sport of Kings. There are a few reasons
for this.

Horses, especially 2YO horses are all at different levels of maturity and there is no way to know this level
of maturity, the horse you claim could be on 20% or on 100% (fully mature) for example. This makes it a risk.

For 2YO horses the cost of claiming a horse is $15 or $25.
For older horses (3YO+) the cost of claiming a horse is $10, $15 or $25.
As these races typically attract horses at the lower end, to pay these prices does not normally represent value for monney.
Especially take a look in the higher purse claimers.
Some will use the race betting as a guide in the hope that the shorter priced horse
indicates that horses superiority.
However, this betting (for some reason, which I have never seen explained) is only available on mobile devices (Phone and Tablet) and not on a desktop PC.
